Loved, loved, loved! We ordered takeout on a Saturday evening. When we arrived the tables were full and more guests waiting. Our food was ready when stated and EVERYTHING was correct even though 3 out of 4 dishes were customized! Plus 4 apps. Everything was great! I had the Tai Hotpot. Every piece of seafood was cooked perfectly! That's hard to do with shrimp, scallops, mussels, & squid. Amazing! If you like spice you'll especially love this place.

We wanted to try something different and we decided to go The green papaya, walked in and the first impression was good, the place is clean and neat. Then the service was AWESOME, we had the kindest most attentive server, great suggestions, joyfully answered all our questions and when our food came...WOW! It was simply amazing, the flavors are something else! We tried appetizers and main courses, everything was delicious. We didn’t have room for dessert, but got one anyway...(the most incredible chocolate mousse i have had in my life!) Can’t wait to go back and try something different! Don’t be afraid to try something new and different than you normally would (be a risk taker)

I had a great time here ! I went on a Tuesday night around 4:30/5, no wait time. The waiter was exceptionally kind. I absolutely loved the chicken satay with peanut sauce. And they’re halal!! I stayed for a while to read as well. Would definitely return here.

Customer service is still alive! Our first time here and we will be back. We were greeted and seated promptly in a pleasant and professional manner. These people obviously know how to treat customers. The place was busy on Sunday evening but we never waited too long, and our waiter was very kind, patient, and attentive. Food was outstanding. I cook a lot and I’m pretty picky. We both got green curry dishes and it was just fantastic. Fresh, flavorful, and delicious! Kids had pad thai which they thoroughly enjoyed. Atmosphere is welcoming, casual,, and cozy. I understand there are other Thai places nearby but I honestly don’t want to try any other place after The Green Papaya!

My favorite Thai restaurant in Connecticut. A family owned business. I come here for a more authentic Thai food. They have one of the best green papaya salads; portion is so big it is enough to share between 2 to 3 people. I love everything they have on the menu, especially the chef specials. Owners and servers are super friendly and always a joy to dine here. If you like dessert, don't forget to ask for the Belgium chocolate mousse.

Where do I begin? Looking for Thai food I promise don’t try anywhere else. The Green Papaya is the place to go! I’ve tried many great Thai spots and I would recommend this heavily. If you’re not sure what to order my go to is Pad Thai crispy chicken. This spot is seriously great with such a delicious variety of food. I’ve been eating here for years and it never gets old whether it’s summer or winter I’ll always eat here.

The service is always friendly and makes you feel like you’re talking to family. They’re super allergy conscious and as someone with a peanut allergy I’ve never felt like I have to worry. I’ve also brought someone with a fish allergy here and they had no issues! The food is always amazing as well. Can’t give this place enough stars

Food was excellent, service was very helpful, atmosphere was nice. It's a small restaurant with parking available in the back. Lots of vegetarian options, and the waiter was very knowledgeable on allergens. The curry puffs were excellent!
